Mater Private Hospital Townsville are looking for a Housekeeper to join the team in a permanent, full-time/part-time and casual capacity.

The Housekeeping Assistant is responsible for efficiently undertaking daily cleaning, housekeeping, and linen requirements of the hospital in line with work health and safety standards.

The Housekeeping Assistant is required to work at the Pimlico Campus, Hyde Park Campus, Ross River Road Corporate Offices and all annexes of the hospital, including hospital accommodation units.

About you

You will have previous experience and knowledge in cleaning, laundry / linen and housekeeping areas of work. You will also have:

• Sound communication skills
• Awareness of the importance of hygiene in all aspects of cleaning and housekeeping duties
• Knowledge of cleaning procedures
• Demonstrated commitment to the provision of quality customer service
• Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and work as part of a team
